If you help people a little along the way Huawei will undoubtedly be mentioned as the Chinese brand that is best known in our latitudes. Abroad the situation looks somewhat different. Just like in Denmark Apple and Samsung are also the biggest but in only a few other markets do the two have such a dominant position as in our country. On the other hand you will see far more phones from Chinese brands which we have largely not experienced on the Danish market. According to the analysis company IC Insights Samsung is still the worlds largest smartphone manufacturer and Apple an equally superb number two.
If on the other hand you look a little further down at a global Top list of the bestselling smartphones in the first three months of this year it teems with Chinese brands. Huawei is world number followed by Phone Number List Oppo and Xiaomi in fourth and fifth place. All three from China. So are Vivo Lenovo incl. Motorola TCL and Meizu. Perhaps a little surprising for many is that Japanese Sony does not appear on the global Top list. In Denmark Sony sells many smartphones but worldwide it only amounted to . million units in the first quarter of the year.

Microsoft is also off the list for the first time in several years and the Americans this year. A sale of . million Lumia phones is far too little. India is in the Top for the first time MicroMax in th place. The Indian market is huge and has gained several mobile manufacturers that you should probably keep an eye on in the future. It will be interesting to see if the Chinese brands will also penetrate the Danish market which is one of the most iPhonefriendly in the world. If that happens it will also quickly be seen on the market for used smartphones.
